On a bit of a whim, I thought: "I should try to translate the Bhagavad Gita"

My copy of the Bhagavad Gita in Sanskrit seems to being with a series of mantras that I am not finding evidence for an association with the Gita itself. After this initial section, there is a translation of the Gita Dhyanam, which seems to be the more traditional "preface" to the Gita, although again - not part of the original Bhagavad Gita. I'll go ahead and work through this as well, though

I would like to be able to simulate different styles of democracy and figure out which ones are the best. Best, of course, has different meanings, but basically I would like to be able to:

First step in democracy is to figure out who the demos are.

I have been pretty interested in the abstract notion of "how decisions get made" for a long time. It seems confusing and hard. At this moment, my best guess is that decisions should get made in such a way to respect the wants & desires of those who the decisions impact. So like, democracy? But how does that even work? I've been thinking of a few projects that I think would help me understand

Build a demonstration voting system that enables the creation of a liquid democracy! It feels a bit unrealistic that I persuade anyone to use it, but I think it would be an interesting experiment, and let me understand the mechanics of things a bit.
